Hypocrisy At It's Worst?

A young female, wholly innocent, was gang raped by 7 men, her torment lasting hours as she was raped up to 14 times. Under immense cultural pressure, she stood up to be counted and be strong, and reported the rape. The perpetrators of the crime, received sentences ranging from just a few months, to a year in jail. Rather than receiving the long arm of justice, they were given ‘gardening leave’ for a short period of time which they could leisurely spend in jail.

Facebook: Grounds for hate mongering

This article talks about the protest that many facebook users have joined in by deactivating their accounts because of facebook's failure to comply with its own anti-hate policies. The presence of hate mongering groups againt religious groups and facebook's failure to remove them has become a bone of contention amongst its patrons. The author insists that freedom of speech and expression are only valid so long as they don't infringe on others' right to freedom of religion.
