Unfortunately no. However, prior to article submission you can save your work in draft status and amend as often as you wish.
Unfortunatley we cannot publish every article which has been submitted. There could be many reasons for this. The main reasons will be either the article content not being strong enough, or it could be the case that similar articles were received on the day (and the best was chosen).
Naturally, after articles age they will be moved. However, Forgotten Journalist appreciates the time and effort that would have gone into your article, therefore they will be migrated to the "Previous Articles" section.
Your article will go through the complete editing process, from spell check/ grammar, to structural changes. There may be times when some of the content needs to be adjusted so to make the content more fluid or easier to read.
Once an article is submitted, there is no way in which it can be deleted from the My Account page. However, if you have a genuine reason for your article to be deleted, then please send a mail to editorial@forgottenjournalist.com detailing why.
To ensure quality of content there are strict constraints on the size of an article. Titles must be between 3-50 characters, synopsis must be between 100-500 characters, and the story must be between 2000-9000 characters.
Photos are displayed along with the article if the article is published. The size of the photo is 210x150 pixels (height x width portrait) or 150x210 pixels (height x width landscape) so the photo must not be any smaller than these sizes at the very minimum. Photos that are larger will be automatically scaled when displayed. We advise not to submit fairly large photos as more scaling will be involved, and hence a greater loss of quality will result.
Please contact editorial@forgottenjournalist.com to have your account closed.
There could be a variety of reasons why your account was closed. For example, not abiding by the Code of Conduct. With the closure of your account you will not be able to submit articles any longer but you will be given a full explanation as to why it was suspended to begin with.
